The Lord My God Teaches Me

Isaiah 48:17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

One God, One Mediator between God and Man

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing (Stopping) your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; Knowing, brethren beloved, your election (Choice) of God. For our gospel (Message) came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance (Confidence); as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake (Personal Growth). And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction (Pain and Sorrow), with joy of the Holy Ghost. I exhort (Strongly Encourage You) therefore, that, first of all, supplications (Ask Humbly though), prayers, intercessions (On Behalf of others), and giving of thanks, be made for all men (People); For kings (Leadership) and for all that are in authority (Who Make Decisions);that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator (Person that Intercedes) between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Whereunto (Who By) I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not; a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity (Truth). I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath (Being Resentful) and doubting.

Be of One Mind

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful (Sympathize with each other), be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing (Creating Barriers against each-other): but contrariwise (In the Opposite way of others) blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto (To what you are) called, that ye should inherit a blessing. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile (Lies and Dishonest words): Let him eschew (Avoid) evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue (Follow after) it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

By Nature We Are Children of Wrath

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror (Disobedience towards God), neither be troubled; But sanctify (Be Holy and lift up) the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (Submissiveness, Gentleness, Respect and Awe): Having a good conscience (Good Understanding in your mind); that, whereas (Even if) they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened (Reanimated/Restored escaped death) by the Spirit: And you hath he quickened (Help you escape death and Restored those), who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein (In Which) in time past ye (You) walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh (Sinful Nature/Fallen Man) fulfilling the desires of the flesh (Self) and of the mind (Thoughts); and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith (In Which) he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved; And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained (Pre- Authorized) that we should walk in them.

Circumcision Not Made With Hands

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. That their hearts might be comforted, being knit (United or Joined) together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance (Confidence) of understanding, to the acknowledgement (Acceptance) of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile (Deceive) you with enticing (Tempting) words. For though I be absent (Not Present Here) in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding (Observing) your order (Direction), and the stedfastness (Loyalty) of your faith in Christ. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished (Accepted) in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding (Very Abundant) therein (In that place) with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments (Teachings) of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality (Leaders) and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein( (In Which) also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances (Laws) that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

The Body Is Of Christ

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. Let no man beguile (Deceive) you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly (Proudly) puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not holding (Lifting Up) the Head (Jesus Christ), from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and the knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments (Beginning) of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances (Mans Religious Laws), Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using; after the commandments and doctrines of men. Amen
